Benches!

Quick update - there are two picnic benches to be installed in the Park soon.  One was donated by Thomas a Becket First School and the other from donations received by Trac at the Family Day back in the summer. The roundabout is to be repaired soon as well.

Grand Opening

Please come along on Monday 4th April 3.30pm for the Grand Opening of the new equipment at Tarring Park.  The kids are very excited to be able to play on the new equipment that they helped to chose.  Sharon and the council have worked very hard to get the funding for this exciting new development for Tarring Recreation Park and I'm sure we're all grateful for the hard work and what's been achieved.  Come along on Monday to show your support and enjoy the playground.  Bring a friend!

Park Progress

If you haven't been past the park lately you won't have seen the exciting changes going on there.  The equipment is in the process of being installed and will open soon.  In the meantime here are some photos of the progress and I'm sure we're all looking forward to spending more time at the park once the work is finished especially if the weather holds!

The Ball Is Rolling!!

If you’ve been to Tarring Park recently you will have noticed lots of activity, the building work has started and hopefully to be completed by the end of March so just in time for spring!  Don’t forget we’re trying to raise as much money for benches as possible so if you please spread the word.  Watch this space for further updates…..

Picnic Benches

Great news, we have received a fabulous donation of £300 from Thomas A Becket First School FABS team!  This will be pay for a picnic bench to add to the playground.  We have applied for donations from other sources including Tesco and Worthing High and waiting for responses.  We'll let you know as soon as we hear the news.    If you or any organisation you know would like to donate, no matter how small or large, please get in touch we need every penny we can get to make this happen.  Thanks.
